The Bears made an identical donation to Hope Chicago in 2023 and continued to provide support in a variety of ways, including visiting players at their schools and visiting students at Halas Hall.
Much like the Bears, Gordon has been a consistent supporter of Hope Chicago since learning about the organization. Prior to attending Hopecoming and participating in My Cause My Cleats, Gordon visited some of their schools and most recently spoke to students at National Louis University.
From Hope's leadership group to her students, Gordon's dedication was inspiring to the entire organization. Everyone involved with Hope Chicago is excited to see how the collaboration with Gordon develops.
“He just says, ‘Hey, I want to be out there. I want to help people,'” Kadens added. “I think that’s magical. We have to remember – and Kyler understands this – that we all put our pants on the same way, one leg at a time. It doesn't matter if you have the title of “Chicago Bear” or “CEO” or are just an “ordinary Chicago resident” We are all the same. We're all fighting together to make Chicago a better city – he's humble and he understands that, and I completely appreciate that about him.
