As the Cleveland Browns take on the New Orleans Saints, quarterback Jameis Winston will face his former team.
Despite a spotty performance against the Los Angeles Chargers before the bye week, the Browns their backup quarterback. There have been some calls to see Dorian Thompson-Robinson on the field with the Browns at 2-7 to see what they have in their second-year quarterback coming into the game .
However, the Browns will choose the quarterback who gives them the best chance to win and evaluate the other players around him.
Winston spent four seasons with the Saints from 2020 to 2023 before signing with the Browns this offseason. During his four years in New Orleans, Winston started a total of 10 games, going 6-4 in those games. He and 20 touchdowns with 11 interceptions in that span.
