The Cleveland Browns the Denver Broncos in just under four hours, and defensive tackle Jowon Briggs will join them.
Briggs was drafted in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft and suffered a cutdown day for the Browns. However, he was not claimed off waivers and the Browns were able to re-sign him to the practice squad. With his fellow rookie Mike Hall Jr. on Injured Reserve and with Sam Kamara The Browns have signed Briggs to the active roster.
However, this means the Browns had to make another move to clear a spot on the roster for Briggs. Which player from the 53-man roster did the Browns trade to make room for Briggs? The Browns also selected two players from their practice squad as game-day raises.
