Offensively, Michael Woods II was the only new addition to the main roster, replacing Cedric Tillman's role. This was the first game in which he recorded a statistic since the end of his rookie season in 2022. This marked his return from a difficult 2023, when he tore his Achilles tendon while training with DeShaun Watson and was then suspended for violating the league's rules of conduct.

Defensively we had a little anomaly. Normally the Browns use more players and rotations, but against Denver we saw the starting depth chart play the majority of the game. 13 players played more than half of the game and the starting eleven all played more than 64 percent. We saw an increase in snaps, particularly from Dalvin Tomlinson and Shelby Harris, but also from Ogbo Okoronko, as the starting linebacker came off the field less often than usual. The thin air may have reached the finish line as they couldn't reach Nix, who finished without taking a sack.

Ronnie Hickman saw plenty of action as a replacement for Juan Thornhill. Thornhill was trending toward elimination over the last two weeks after seeing less than 50 percent of defensive snaps in both games and was officially sidelined against Denver. Aside from an explosive play from Marvin Mims and Courtland Sutton, the receivers didn't find much room to maneuver and instead went to the running game.
