With the Cleveland Browns coming off their bye week against the New Orleans Saints, they expect linebacker Jordan Hicks to be back in the lineup.
After head coach Kevin Stefanski missed several games this season that Hicks will return on Sunday. That's great news for a linebacker room that has already seen its Pro Bowler Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah hit injured reserve with a neck injury.
That's what that means After starting at MIKE linebacker for the last three weeks, he will likely move to WILL linebacker and fill in for Owusu-Koramoah. This would push players like Devin Bush and Winston Reid back to the bench instead of playing significant defensive snaps.
However, since he is 2:7, the young Diabate grabs the ball for Cleveland even at the expense of using their starting MIKE linebacker Hicks. Despite signing the Browns to a two-year contract this offseason, a failed season will require them to evaluate the younger players on their roster.
