Lions adding safety Jamal Adams to practice squad

Former All-Pro safety Jamal Adams is joining the Lions and will start on their practice squad with the possibility of being called up to the active roster. This is according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The news was also confirmed by Adams' agent Kevin Connor.

Adams wanted to compete with a playoff contender. Things can't get much better than the 11-1 Lions right now.

The 29-year-old appeared in three games for the Tennessee Titans this season. After joining in 2020, he spent three seasons with the New York Jets and four with the Seattle Seahawks.

Adams was selected to the All-Pro selection three times, including the First team in 2019.
