The Lions have an unusual work week with two Thursday games in a row. This means that yesterday (Sunday) is like a typical Wednesday and today (Monday) is like a Thursday. An NP (no training) today could be considered a typical NP on a Thursday, meaning leaning out.
My main concerns going into last game were Levi Onwuzurike, DJ Reader, Josh Paschal and Malcom Rodriguez, and all of them showed up in today's report except for Rodriguez, who was placed on IR with a torn ACL. Here is my post-match report with injury videos of these four players.
There was a surprise after the game when Mekhi Wingo was placed on IR with a suspected right knee injury. Dan Campbell announced that he is out for the season. We don't have a diagnosis yet, but here is the video where Wingo may have been injured:
Video about Mekhi Wingo R's knee injury
-This is the suspicious piece. The next game he limped, left the game and returned with a knee brace.
-Can't see much. The R leg is strained a bit.
-Out of action due to the season, likely surgery—Jimmy Liao MD | Detroit Lions Morning Rounds (@JimmyLiaoMD)
DETROIT LIONS
Taylor Decker LT, knee (NP)
Dan Campbell said Sunday that “it's going to be a day-to-day difference between whether he's able to walk this week.” The video suggested a mild right MCL sprain and a mild right ankle sprain in the Colts game two weeks away. Last year, Decker missed two games with a similar-looking ankle sprain. He is officially listed as having only one knee, suggesting that the knee is the more concerning issue.
Alim McNeill missed four games last year due to an MCL that he played through during the game. I expect Decker to miss at least the second game in a row. If he can return next week that would be a good result.
DJ Reader DT, shoulder (NP)
Reader landed hard on a dislocated left shoulder in the final game, causing a subluxation. He stayed in the game but was visibly disturbed. A subluxation could be a long-term problem, so hopefully it's just a mild shoulder sprain. There is no word yet on his diagnosis.
Levi Onwuzurike DT, Hamstrings (NP)
Onwuzurike suffered a left hamstring strain on Thanksgiving. He is likely to miss this week as his hamstring tends to aggravate.
Josh Paschal DE, Knee (NP)
Paschal took an awkward step on Thanksgiving and injured his right knee. Although the diagnosis is unknown, early signs suggest the injury is not serious. However, it looks like he will be out this week.
Carlton Davis CB, knee (LP)
Davis suffered a left knee injury two weeks ago and missed Thanksgiving. I suspect a slight strain of a muscle/tendon in his back knee. The LP is a very good sign that the injury is minor and he could be ready for Thursday.
Dan Campbell said Saturday: “He’s questionable on a daily basis.”
Emmanuel Moseley CB, hamstrings (FP)
Now we have the answer to the mysterious pregame problem that caused Moseley to miss Thanksgiving. The good news is that the hamstring is very weak and the FP means he is on track to play against the Packers.

GREEN BAY PACKERS
Jaire Alexander CB, knee (LP)
This starting CB has missed two games due to the PCL injury that has been going on for several weeks. While he could probably use more free time, he may be playing against the Lions.
Romeo Doubs WR, concussion (LP)
Doubs missed the last game due to a concussion. It looks like he is going through the protocol well and will play. He has been productive this year with 34 catches for 483 yards, second on the team behind Jayden Reed.
Edgerrin Cooper LB, Hamstring (NP)
This second-round rookie has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury and it looks like he will miss another game. He has 2.5 sacks and 31 solo tackles on the year.
Corey Ballentine CB, Knee (NP)
Ballentine is primarily a special teams player.
Elgton Jenkins OG, Knee (NP)
Jenkins is a starting OG and has played in every game this year.
