Packers sign 12 practice squad players to reservefuture deals to start 2025 offseason

The Green Bay Packers signed 12 players from their final 2024 practice squad to reserve/future contracts on Monday following Sunday's playoff loss at Philadelphia.

The Packers have signed the following players to reserve/future contracts, which will serve as placeholders through the start of the new 2025 league year in March and retain every player on the 90-man offseason roster:

EN Deslin Alexandre
S Omar Brown
DL James Ester
CB Kamal Hadden
K Alex Hale
G Marquis Hayes
WR Julian Hicks
OL Donovan Jennings
WR Cornelius Johnson
CB Kalen King
DL Jeremiah Martin
TE Messiah Swinson

Brown, Hadden and King were all promoted from the practice squad to the gameday squad on points during the regular season.

The only players not signed to a futures contract from the practice squad were running back Deshaun Fenwick, guard Michael Jordan, receiver Alex McGough and linebacker Michael Barrett. Running back Ellis Merriweather finished the season on the practice squad/injured reserve list.
