Mock draft Monday will look a little different herepartly because PFF published their latest piece on Monday. Trevor Sikkema released a three-round mock draft, so we'll discuss that these tips he made.
PFF focused its mock draft on the Vikings' secondary, which appears to be a popular trend for the team's draft plan projections.
With the 28th pick in the mock draft, the Vikings secured Ole Miss cornerback Trey Amos. He has been a popular name and rising star in recent weeks, quickly making it into the first round discussion. Of Amos, he writes: “Amos deserves more recognition in the 2025 cornerback class.” At 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, the aggressive outside cornerback combines long arms with physicality in coverage. He earned a coverage grade of 81.7 and is the eighth-most forced incompletion (13) in the FBS. . .”
With their final two mock draft picks, the Vikings signed Oklahoma safety Billy Bowman Jr., who could be a long-term commitment as Harrison Smith ages. They also land explosive but physical running back Bhayshul Tuten from Virginia Tech.
There will be more and more mock drafts over the next few weeks, including every Monday here on Vikings Wire.
