It appears Steelers DT Cam Heyward needs to have a conversation with WR about not making excuses for a loss. While Pickens attributed the team's Week 12 loss to the Cleveland Browns to inclement weather, Heyward dismissed that sentiment on his recent podcast: Not just football with Cam Heyward.
In episode 97 – a truly fitting number for Heyward – the veteran Steeler addressed claims that the weather played a role in the Pittsburgh Steelers' loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers : “Fourth down, I thought we were coming off the field, and you know, that’s what’s going to stick in my mind. But we had our chances. They performed better and the weather didn’t really matter as both teams had to deal with it.”
Fans can understand Heyward's disappointment with his defense and the Pittsburgh Steelers as a whole, but the team will look to get back on track against a tough division rival, the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 1st at 1:00 pm EST.
