This morning the Pittsburgh Steelers woke up to a big division win over the Baltimore Ravens. But don't tell head coach Mike Tomlin. He seems allergic to enjoying his team's success, and frankly that strikes us as unusual.
“By the time the car leaves the parking lot, I’m on the road. I’ve been here too long to enjoy it,” Tomlin said at his weekly press conference.

It's absolutely fine to simply enjoy the fruits of success on a weekly basis, and I hope players don't share his approach. This team hasn't won a playoff game since 2016, so it's hard to imagine going the entire season without taking some time to enjoy those regular-season victories, only to get bounced in the playoffs year after year . Perhaps if Tomlin would put a little more thought into how important games like Sundays are, perhaps it would help them understand the significance and potential excitement of a playoff victory.
