On Monday, the NFL announced 32 nominees for the 2024 Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award. Each team nominates one player for the award, which aims to recognize those who “show the world how the game is played at the highest level of competition with respect and integrity.”
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Atlanta Falcons have designated veteran defensive tackles as their candidate for 2024. Jarrett, who played his entire ten-year career in Atlanta, definitely fits the criteria
The former fifth-round pick out of Clemson has been one of the few consistent players on this Falcons defense over the last decade. Jarrett has made two Pro Bowls and continues to be a driving force for Atlanta in his 10th season.
So far in 2024, the veteran defensive lineman has recorded 36 tackles (19 solo), 2.5 sacks and nine QB hits in 11 games. Check out the full list of Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award nominees below:
