Panthers announce new uniform combination for Week 13

For the first time in nearly a month, the Carolina Panthers will not be wearing theirs when they take the field this weekend. But they're wearing something that's reasonably fresh.

As announced on Friday evening, the team will unveil a brand new jersey combination on Sunday. The Panthers – for theirs against the NFC South rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers – will wear their silver helmets, black jerseys, blue shorts and black socks.

Here's a little taste of the look:

The Panthers have worn their (less popular) silver helmets eight times this season. They are 2-6 in those games.

This upcoming matchup will be the first of two games between Carolina and Tampa Bay this season. Dating back to the 2020 season, the Panthers have been victorious in just one of their last eight games against the Buccaneers.
