The Carolina Panthers were without one of their most exciting playmakers on Wednesday.
After he was for the team Kansas City Chiefs wideout Jalen Coker did not participate in this afternoon's practice due to his quadriceps injury. Head coach Dave Canales told reporters that he doesn't expect the rookie to play in Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Coker was joined by fellow rookie tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders. Sanders was from Sunday's game after injuring his neck.
Channels that the 21-year-old escaped a “pretty bad” injury that saw him land on his head. According to Canales, he is also expected to sit this weekend.
