How Texans and Cowboys stack up before Week 11

The Houston Texans need a resurgent win after blowing a 16-point first-half lead against the Detroit Lions “Football on Sunday evenings.”

The good news? Dak Prescott will not play for the Dallas Cowboys for the remainder of 2024.

Houston heads north to Arlington to take on the struggling Cowboys on “Monday Night Football.” AT&T Stadium. Most eyes will be on the duo CJ Stroud and Micah Parsons, who have been working on this Lone Star Showdown since January.

Others will look at the stats to see where the two rank compared to each other in hopes of getting a win and bragging rights.

The Texans have to react after last week's mistake. Stroud threw two interceptions in the second half, including one in the end zone, to secure the 10-point game. Jared Goff threw five picks, but the two in the second half never resulted in scoring drives.

With the loss, Houston became the second team since 1933 to lose a game in which it caught five interceptions and led by at least 15. Previously, teams had a record of 373-1-1 when leading by at least 15 and throwing five interceptions.

As for the Cowboys, it's Cooper Rush expected to start for the second time after Sunday's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. He completed 13 of 26 passes for 45 yards and lost two fumbles. He was also fired once.

Trey Lance, former No. 3 overall pickcame off the bench in the fourth quarter and struggled, completing 4 of 6 pass attempts for 21 yards and an interception.

This is what happens to the Texans and Cowboys stack up statistically before the game on Monday.
