It's a war zone in Duval County heading into halftime And
Texas linebacker Azeez Al-Shair delivered a late score against a sliding Trevor Lawrence in the closing minutes of the second quarter. Lawrence was sprawled and needed immediate medical attention.
That was just the beginning of events. Jaguars tight end Evan Engram tackled Al-Shaair after the play and the fight between the two sides broke out near the Jaguars sideline.
A few minutes after the brawl subsided, Lawrence was carted off and left immediately with a head injury. After further review, Al-Shair and Jaguars cornerback Jarrian Jones were ejected for starting the fight

Al-Shaair, who served as the leader of the Texans' defense, continued to fight as both players left the field. Jaguars guard Brandon Scherff ran toward Al-Shair as they continued to chatter back and forth. Defensive lineman Will Anderson Jr. kept things calm as Al-Shaair finally made his way to the locker room to a swarm of boos and taunts from the Jacksonville fans.
Al-Shair knows better. It was an avoidable goal that should never have been in danger as Lawrence faltered. Even the most loyal Texans fans can admit the hit deserved a ejection.
