Jaguars move WR Gabe Davis to RB Keilan Robinson from IR

The Jaguars signed starting wide receiver Gabe Davis and rookie running back Keilan Robinson from injured reserve on Tuesday, ending the former's season and beginning the latter's.

Davis was with a reported meniscus tear suffered in from Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson on Monday.

“He will miss the rest of the season. “It’s confirmed this morning,” Pederson said. “Gosh, I hate it for him. He has struggled with a few injuries this season but was in good spirits when I saw him today. But he will miss the rest of the year.”

Davis finished his first season with the Jaguars with 20 passes caught for 239 yards and two touchdowns. He signed one He signed with Jacksonville as a free agent in March after recording 163 receptions for 2,730 yards and 27 touchdowns in four years with Buffalo early in his NFL career.

Robinson, Jacksonville's No. 167 pick in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, is undefeated with the Jaguars after missing the preseason with a toe injury and being placed on injured reserve in August.
