Since McGuinness left out this selection in his post, I thought it would be a good opportunity to highlight some potential picks here. A few players that immediately come to mind are LSU's Mason Taylor and Ohio State's Denzel Burke.
Taylor, one of this year's top tight ends, was a standout for LSU over the past three seasons, racking up 1,240 yards on 123 receptions for the Tigers. First, a pass catcher with the ability to create mismatches in the slot. It makes perfect sense for this Saints team to have a big goal on offense.
Burke fits the mold of a Saints corner at 6-foot-4 and 193 pounds. A physical, tenacious player who has a knack for shielding receivers on the field. A willing player at the line of scrimmage, he also plays a big role in the success of Ohio State University's run defense. With Lattimore leaving the building and Adebo's future uncertain, adding Burke in the latter part of the third round could potentially be a steal.
