The Las Vegas Raiders didn't have much to offer in the 2024 season. They're just 2-10 this year, but with rookie tight end Brock Bowers, they may have secured an important part of their offense for the future.
Many saw Bowers as one of the top five players in the 2024 NFL draft, and on Wednesday expressed his thoughts on the newcomer.
“I thought he was one of the best tight ends in a long time — not just in this draft, but in a long time. He lives up to expectations. He can play wideout, he can play tight end, he can play some fullback, he can run jet sweeps. They do a lot with him and he’s a very talented guy.”
The talent translated immediately to the NFL in terms of production. The rookie has 84 receptions, 884 total yards and four touchdowns on the year.
To avoid a trap game for the Bucs, he will be the focal point of these Bucs' defensive unit on Sunday.
