The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have enjoyed the development of defensive lineman Vita Vea over the years. Through 11 games of the 2024 season, Vea looks to be one of the best center backs in the league today.

It's not about the Pro Bowl, it's about helping us win and the accolades will come as they come. . .In my opinion he plays good football, he has the sacks to show it – that's not the whole story because he destroys the middle and keeps us in ball games.”
Pro Bowl voting began this week and Bowles also discussed why Vea has earned a spot in recent years, but acknowledges that a team's record plays a role. If the Bucs can win a few more games and Vea plays a role, perhaps we can see him being part of Eli or Peyton Manning's team.
