physicality

Joshua Gray has shown that he has no problem being physical, be it at tackle or guard. I would add that in recent years he has shown his skills more as a tackler, but as the year progressed you could see that he was able to impose his will more and more down the stretch.

sportiness

Gray shows decent athleticism as a guard, allowing him to move well enough to be used in a variety of ways. He does well when asked to pull and lead blocks, but he also does a good job of using his athleticism to recover.

Pass protection

Joshua Gray thrives in pass defense, but he isn't too bad as a run blocker either. You can tell he has an easier time trusting his footwork, back-kicking, and anchoring than trying to steamroll up the lanes.
