Todd Bowles ended his third season as head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with another early playoff exit. He did lead the team to three consecutive NFC South Division titles, but with mixed results. His record during that time is 27-24, and he is now 1-3 in the postseason.
Although the team was successful, there was not much progress made in some key positions. Because Bowles, a defensive-minded coach, wasn't the reason the secondary saw any growth. If anything, Antoine Winfield Jr. has taken a step back this year after being injured and used in a variety of positions.
While it's still too early to speculate whether his tenure with the Bucs is coming to an end, discussions and rumors among fans have certainly increased in recent weeks, and an NFL Wild Card loss won't help.
