The Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award recognizes an nfl player for outstanding charitable activities off the field as well as outstanding achievements on the field. The award is widely considered one of the league's most prestigious honors.
Jeffery Simmons was selected as the team's nominee for the Walter Payton nfl Man of the Year Award, presented by Nationwide, for the second time.

This year, all 32 nominees will be honored for their performances in the week leading up to Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans. The 2024 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award winner will be announced during NFL Honors, a primetime awards special airing nationally on FOX and the NFL Network on Thursday, February 6, 2025.
Simmons started his Give Em A Reason Foundation In 2022, he will host fundraising initiatives as part of his nonprofit organization's mission to help others through youth empowerment and self-esteem opportunities.
Raised by a single mother with five children, the organization, particularly Simmons herself, focuses on giving children from similar backgrounds a reason to hope, achieve, grow and never give up. Not only is this a financial commitment, Simmons sees a need and dedicates his time to being a role model and mentor to youth.
