As the Tennessee Titans are in the midst of a general manager search, it was announced Sunday that their former head coach Mike Vrabel will take the reins of the New England Patriots in 2025.
His attitude initially sparked immediate interest and speculation about the possible schedule for their duel. The Titans will host the Patriots next season, and this season could lead to an interesting storyline that networks could use to generate some press.
Afterwards, the social media world turned its attention to the players, especially those with ties to Vrabel. The first mention was free agent wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, and while that mention stirred some emotions, it was a contribution from Dom that turned heads.

“We need to start the Mike Vrabel era by trading for Jeffery Simmons” seems innocent, right? Until Simmons himself liked the post. From that point on, the debate and conspiracy theories began to ensue.
Could Vrabel and the Patriots try to trade for Simmons? Would the Titans consider it? These are both interesting questions and cannot be answered by the Titans at this point without a general manager.
One thing is for sure: A week into the offseason, the Titans are making things interesting.
