For wide receiver Treylon Burks, the news wasn't so positive. The former first-round pick was placed on injured reserve due to a knee injury. When he was originally injured in training, there was optimism that he would return in 2024. Today, those thoughts came to an end when it was announced that Burks will miss the remainder of 2024 with an ACL injury. This is the latest in a long line of injuries for Burks, who has not lived up to his draft pedigree.
The active Titans had six starters sidelined on Wednesday. Cornerback Roger McCreary, defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons, linebacker Kenneth Murray, guard Peter Skoronski, defensive tackle T'Vondre Sweat and linebacker James Williams were all picked off.
wide receiver Tyler Boyd, offensive tackle Leroy Watson and Duncan were limited. While cornerback Chidobe Awuzie was a full participant and is working to be activated for the Jaguars game.
