Any time you fire a coach and hire an entirely new staff, there is a rebuilding process. This means that no matter how bad last season was, there will still be relapse before there is progress. This year was no different for Brian Callahan and the Titans, but we began to question whether his hiring was the right decision.
As the Titans continue to improve, wins are becoming less important than the quality of their play. The goal this season was to rebuild, and to that end Callahan is doing his job. We are starting to see the fruits of their labor and that goes for the players too. When this happens, players often redouble their efforts to maintain momentum.
The future is bright in Tennessee, and as long as the losses continue to improve, everyone knows next season will be better.
