Arizona Cardinals S Budda Baker makes Second Team

Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker has earned another honor for his play during the 2024 season. Associated Press announced the 2024 All-Pro team and he was named to the second team.

It is the fourth time in his career that he has been named to an All-Pro team. In 2017, he made the All-Pro First Team as a rookie on special teams. In 2020 he was added to the first team for security reasons. In 2021 and now this year he made the second team.

He also made the Pro Bowl for the seventh consecutive time and eighth time overall in his career and was named the team's co-MVP along with running back James Conner by the local chapter of the Pro Football Writers of America.

He finished the 2024 season with 164 total tackles, including 95 solo tackles and 10 tackles for loss. He had two sacks, three quarterback hits, a forced fumble and five pass breakups.

The two safeties on the All-Pro First Team were Brian Branch of the Detroit Lions and Xavier McKinney of the Green Bay Packers. Kyle Hamilton of the Baltimore Ravens joins Baker on the second team.

Baker received a total of 38 points, including seven first-place votes. Of the 50 voters, he received seven first votes (worth three points) and 17 second votes (worth one point).
