Vikings Rams playoff game has 4 Cardinals player connections

The Arizona Cardinals didn't make the playoffs this season, but they did because of their former players.

The NFL playoffs continue on Monday with the final game of the wild card round. The Minnesota Vikings and the Los Angeles Rams play against each other. The game was supposed to be played in LA, but was moved to Arizona at State Farm Stadium. There are four former Cardinals between the two teams on their rosters and practice squads.

Check them out below.

Former Cardinals player with the Minnesota Vikings

Bullard played three seasons for the Vikings. He played nine games for the Cardinals in 2019 before an injury ended his season. This season he has been a bright spot on defense.

Murphy was the Cardinals' second-round pick in 2019 and played four seasons for Arizona before moving to Minnesota in free agency. He made the Pro Bowl for the first time this season after posting a career-best six pass catches.

Sherfield played for the Cardinals from 2018 to 2020 after making the team as an undrafted rookie and then being a standout special teams player.

He has played for four teams in four seasons but hasn't missed a game in four years.

Former Cardinals player with the LA Rams

Strong is on the Rams' practice squad. He played part of the 2023 season for the Cardinals.
