With the end of the NFL season last week, six head coaching positions became available. With the news that Mike Vrabel would be taking the job in New England, the list was expected to shrink to five.
But literally the same moment Mike Vrabel was introduced as the Patriots' next head coach, another NFL job opened up.
The Dallas Cowboys have entered the chat.
Sources: Mike McCarthy is out #Cowboys Trainer.

With the Cowboys and Mike McCarthy unable to agree on the terms of a new contract, McCarthy is out and the Cowboys are officially looking for a new head coach. That brings us back to six open positions.
The list is as follows: Raiders, Jets, Saints, Bears, Jaguars and Cowboys.
These are the teams that will now compete with the available head coach candidates. Most of them have a pretty big lead over the Cowboys, but that might not matter.
