Raiders land top QB 2nd RB in latest PFF 3 round mock draft

As the Raiders continue to free fall this season, they appear to be a safe bet for one of the top picks in the 2025 NFL draft. With six games left in the 2024 NFL season, PFF has already published one Three-round NFL mock draft The Raiders have (finally) filled their QB needs and added talent at a few other positions as well.

2. LAS VEGAS RAIDERS: QB SHEDEUR SANDERS, COLORADO

Although quarterback Aidan O'Connell managed to bring the Raiders close to an upset in Kansas City this week, all signs point to the team selecting a quarterback in the 2025 nfl draft. Sanders stands out as the most pro-ready quarterback in this class, posting high passing grades in each of the last two seasons and excelling under pressure with one of the highest passing grades in those situations – despite his propensity to take a lot of sacks. While his arm strength may not be top-notch, Sanders is a polished passer that the Raiders can rely on.

34. LAS VEGAS RAIDERS: RB OMARION HAMPTON, NORTH CAROLINA

Hampton is the second running back off the field in this mock draft, behind only Boise State's Ashton Jeanty, who was selected by the Cowboys with a total of 13 points.

66. LAS VEGAS RAIDERS: S/CB SEBASTIAN CASTRO, IOWA

PFF seems to have forgotten that the Raiders own the Jets' third-round pick. The Jets have 70 total picks in the third round, meaning the Raiders would have two picks at the top in that round and at least four picks in the first three rounds.
