This time last week, Sincere McCormick had never set foot on an NFL field. Then he took his precautions and made the best of it. He accumulated 33 yards on five carries (6.6 yards per carry) and head coach Antonio Pierce later said McCormick did so .
Pierce kept his word and McCormick's snaps increased to 26 (38%) on Friday against the Chiefs. He didn't disappoint with his increased snaps, rushing for a team-high 64 yards on 12 carries (5.3 yards per carry).
Both Zamir White and Alexander Mattison were with injuries leading to the emergence of McCormick. The 2023 undrafted free agent could end up being a key part of the Raiders' plans even if White and Mattison return to the lineup and beyond.
