LA activates two linemen waives Logan Bruss

The Los Angeles Rams will welcome Jonah Jackson and Steve Avila back into the starting lineup on Monday night against the Miami Dolphins. The team has officially released both players from injured reserve, making it likely they will start at center and defense.

This is excellent news for the Rams, but it comes at the expense of a roster spot. To make room for Avila and Jackson, the Rams surprisingly waived Logan Bruss, a former third-round pick. Bruss started three games at left back this season before becoming one who has started the last three games and played well in Bruss' place.

The Rams selected Bruss with the 104th overall pick in the 2022 draft, making him their top pick in this year's class. He missed his rookie season because of a torn ACL he suffered in the preseason and spent last season on the practice squad before joining the team this summer and getting his first starting opportunity.

It's likely the Rams will try to re-sign Bruss to the practice squad, but since he's subject to waivers, another team could potentially claim him before Los Angeles gets a chance to bring him back.

In addition to these three roster moves, the Rams designated Jonah Williams from the practice squad and signed Neville Gallimore. He will provide depth along the defensive line.
