Rams injury updates for Week 14 game vs Bills

The Los Angeles Rams took the field for their first practice of the week on Wednesday and unlike the Buffalo Bills, who only held a walkthrough, the Rams were in full swing. They listed seven players on the injury report, but only three of them were either not involved or had limited participation in the game, and one of those was Cooper Kupp, who was simply resting.

The Bills' injury list is much longer, but everyone has at least played in a limited capacity, so they appear to be in good shape heading into Sunday's game against the Rams.

The good news for Los Angeles is that Matthew Stafford and Tyler Higbee were both full-time, and Alaric Jackson's absence was merely a precautionary measure as the team kept his workload lighter after he showed up with a foot injury last week.

Alaric Jackson injury update

Sean McVay said Jackson participated in Wednesday's walkthrough, but the Rams held him back from practice “just to be smart with his foot.” It sounds like he's well on his way to playing again on Sunday.

Update on Tyler Higbee's injury

McVay initially said earlier this week that it was unlikely Higbee would play against the Bills, but did not rule it out on Wednesday.

“It’s possible,” he said of playing Higbee. “He's fine. We'll see how another full day of training goes for him today. He did a great job being there for us last week. He brought an energy with him. Boys love him. For us he's really a glue guy. We’ll take it day by day and see what that looks like.”

Matthew Stafford injury update

Stafford suffered a sprained ankle in Week 13, but McVay said it did not impact his availability during the week. Stafford was in full action on Wednesday and should be fine for this weekend.
