49ers take injured CB in 1st round of 2025 NFL mock draft

With just a few weeks left on the college football roster, NFL Draft season is really starting to get underway. Before the San Francisco 49ers face the Buffalo Bills in Week 13, have released their latest predictions for the 2025 draft with a new sample draft.

With the No. 17 overall pick in the mock draft, Draft Wire sent East Carolina cornerback Shavon Revel to the 49ers in the first round.

In three seasons at East Carolina, the 6-foot-2 defensive back recorded three interceptions, 15 pass deflections, one sack and five tackles for a loss in 24 games. Revel has totaled 71 tackles in his career.

Revel's junior season was cut short after the top prospect tore his ACL during practice in September. Before his injury, Revel intercepted App State quarterback Joey Aguilar for a 50-yard pick-six touchdown.

The first round of the NFL Draft is scheduled for April 24, 2025. The draft takes place in Green Bay.
