While Deebo Samuel was quiet, fellow star playmaker Christian McCaffrey was also quiet. In his fourth game back from injury, McCaffrey struggled to make an impact against the Packers. While the running game was non-existent and never really got going in a blowout, McCaffrey's biggest play of the game came off a pass from Brandon Allen.
In the fourth quarter, McCaffrey caught a ball in space and scampered 23 yards before fumbling the ball and returning it to the 49ers. Late in the game, the 49ers fumbled the ball on consecutive drives on the opening play of the possession.
McCaffrey finished the game with a season-low 31 yards on 11 carries.
