How good was Tyrice Knight vs the 49ers Baldinger breaks it down

The Seattle Seahawks experienced a tremendous midseason performance overall at the linebacker position. They started the year with Tyrel Dodson and Jerome Baker. Now both men are no longer on the team. Taking their place will be Ernest Jones IV and freshman Tyrice Knight from UTEP.

Jones and Knight were a revelation and presented clear improvements. Against the 49ers, the two combined for a total of 23 tackles, easily leading the team. But we should particularly look at Knight's performance, accomplished by film guru Brian Baldinger in one of his beloved “Baldy's Breakdowns.”

It appears the Seahawks have found something special with their fourth-round pick from last spring.

Knight had 10 of those 23 total tackles between him and Jones.

The Seahawks will face another critical test this weekend against Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals' explosive offense. Seattle's defense appears to have turned the corner, but it's only been two games. If they can find a way to slow Arizona down, this unit may really be on its way to being fixed.
