Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III has a chance to make history

The Seattle Seahawks have a real star in the making in running back Kenneth Walker III. The explosive Michigan State University star has quietly made a name for himself as one of the league's best runners in football. Despite missing two games this year, Walker has taken every opportunity to make his presence felt in every game since.

While total rushing yards may be lacking, Walker has little trouble finding paydirt. Walker currently has seven rushing touchdowns this year as he becomes increasingly difficult to stop when the end zone is in sight.

Walker's touchdown total puts him on the verge of matching recent franchise history. In fact, if he manages to score three more rushing touchdowns this year, he would become the first Seahawks running back to score at least 10 points on the ground since Marshawn Lynch scored 13 points during the 2014 season.

Walker is a threat that he brings home with every touch of the ball. The Seahawks would be wise to make him the focal point of the offensive game plan again on Sunday to keep Kyler Murray and the Cardinals' dynamic offense out of the picture. If Walker can get going unchecked, Seattle has a good chance of defending its home turf.
