SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) Former NHL player and TNT hockey analyst Paul Bissonnette was attacked by several men during an altercation at a Scottsdale steakhouse Sunday night.

“You could tell by his face that he (the manager) was a little shocked, surprised and stunned,” Bissonnette said. “It's a family restaurant and there was no one there who might be able to help him, so I went over and grabbed the guy and said, 'Sir, if you're going to attack and harass the staff, we're leaving.' have problems.'”
Bissonnette said members of the group began throwing punches in a fight that started at the restaurant and spread to the parking lot and a nearby store. Bissonnette said he was kicked in the head three times and took several punches, while he himself landed multiple punches against seven men.
Scottsdale police arrested six men on charges of assault and disorderly conduct.
Bissonnette played in the NHL from 2008 to 2014 and spent his final six seasons with the Arizona Coyotes before beginning a broadcasting career.
