Premier League action returned to fans after a European midweek across the continent as six games kicked off the weekend's festivities and Liverpool are headlining across the country.

With the Seagulls down a goal, O'Riley, along with fellow second-half substitute João Pedro, proved crucial to the substitution led to a lengthy run of defeats in all competitions and pushed the south coast club up the table and back into the top four discussion.

Wissa was in contention again here after his two-goal performance, but given Man City's losing streak, this was too good to pass up.

Brentford boss Thomas Frank was thrilled as the Bees picked up another win at the Gtech Community Stadium, declaring: “I’m really happy with the win. I'm very glad we came back. I’m very glad we posed such a threat in the future.”
“We gave them the first goal, of course that happens, and then one or two more good chances. But after that I thought we really grew into the game. I thought we did well. Scored a good goal. And in the second half I thought there was a team on the pitch. At that point we were clearly better and created and scored two fantastic goals. I’m very happy with that.”
Pep Guardiola cut a different figure after Man City's defeat at Brighton; It is the fourth consecutive defeat in all competitions and the first time this feat has happened to the Spanish tactician.
