The Nations League and English Football League will be the focus of football fans this weekend as the Premier League is put on hold for the final time due to the international break in 2024.
England's clash with the Republic of Ireland is perhaps the most intriguing contest of the weekend, but it doesn't take place until Sunday.
Here we look at the most attractive betting options for the first day of the weekend and present our top three picks for Saturday's football.

Under 2.5 goals in Turkey vs Wales – @ 3/4
A draw would be an excellent result for Turkey in their Nations League game against Wales on Saturday at the Buyuksehir Belediyesi Kadir Has Stadium in Kayseri. So expect the hosts to tread carefully.
It is likely that Turkey will flood the midfield and make sure everything stays tight. As leaders of Group B4, a draw would keep them in absolute lead in the group.
Turkey face basement boys Montenegro in their final group game, so avoiding defeat against Wales is key for Vincenzo Montella's side to progress.
Top spot in this group would virtually guarantee the playoffs for the 2026 World Cup, so Turkey will be desperate to hold off the Welsh.
There have been no more than two goals scored in any of the last four meetings between Turkey and Wales, so it makes sense to assume a slight odds of under 2.5 for Saturday's clash.
The last meeting two months ago in Cardiff was a goalless draw and a repeat of that result seems entirely feasible.
Longshot of the day
Under 1.5 goals in Germany against Bosnia @ 21/4
Germany are struggling with some injury problems ahead of their Nations League game against Bosnia and the home team may not score as many goals as the bookmaking community seems to believe.
Chances are that Julian Nagelsmann's side will put in a lackluster performance in this clash as they will almost certainly finish at the top of their group regardless of whether they win or not. A draw will probably be enough for Germany to secure top spot in the group.
The only way to avoid securing first place in the group with a draw would be for Hungary to simultaneously win over the Netherlands and for Hungary to beat Germany in the final set of Group A4 by more than five goals. Nagelsmann and his troops will be aware of how far-fetched this scenario is.
Stuttgart striker Deniz Undav scored twice in Germany's 2-1 win in Bosnia last month but will miss the second leg due to injury. A boring and low-scoring game is expected at the Schwarzwaldstadion, so 21/4 seems like a hefty price for a goal or less in the game.
Special of the day
Crawley beats Bristol Rovers, BTTS and over 3.5 goals @ 21/2
Bristol Rovers are struggling with injury and suspension issues ahead of their League One game against Crawley on Saturday. Rovers are struggling to find a recognized right-back and one can expect the visitors to have plenty to enjoy on the left.
Taylor Moore, Lino Sousa, Jack Hunt and Joel Senior are expected to miss the game. Rovers look vulnerable at the back and while they can still be dangerous going forward, a high-scoring away win could be possible.
