Nottingham Forest striker Chris Wood has become the first player in the club's history to be named Premier League Player of the Month.
The New Zealand captain won the award after scoring four goals in three games in October.
Wood's goals helped Forest remain unbeaten all month as Nuno Espirito Santo won the Manager of the Month award.
Forest began the month with a 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge when they were reduced to 10 men.
Wood – the first New Zealand player to be named Premier League Player of the Month – scored two weeks later as Forest beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at home and then scored twice in a 3-1 win at Leicester City .
The New Zealander moved from Newcastle United to Forest in 2023, initially on loan.
