One of the biggest tone-setting events of the year in WWE is here. Money in the Bank takes place on Saturday and the card is destined for the ScotiaBank Arena in Toronto.
The map will feature two ranked matches featuring a man and a woman as Money in the Bank contract holders. This contract guarantees the winner a shot at any championship at a time of their choosing, often right after the champion has just been worn down in a title defense.
The world heavyweight championship is also up for defense, with Damian Priest putting his title on the line against former champion Seth Rollins, who only recently returned from injury.
Check out the confirmed matches for Money in the Bank below. The event will be broadcast live on Peacock on Saturday, with the main card starting at 7:00 p.m. ET.
2024 WWE Money in the Bank Games
World Heavyweight Championship – Damian Priest (c) vs. Seth Rollins: Rollins returned from injury on a recent Raw and immediately made it clear that he plans to regain the title he lost at WrestleMania. When Rollins seemed to indicate that he would enter the Money in the Bank ladder match to achieve his goal, Priest came to the ring to tell Rollins that he intended to use his Money in the Bank contract against him and not cashing in on Drew McIntyre and challenged him to Rollins, giving him a direct path to the title to find out who really is Raw's frontrunner.
Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match – Jey Uso vs. Carmelo Hayes vs. Andrade vs. Chad Gable vs. LA Knight vs. Drew McIntyre: There are, as expected, a lot of moving parts to the game. Gable found himself in the sights of Wyatt Sicks while losing control of Alpha Academy, Uso is still looking for his first singles championship, and McIntyre was repeatedly screwed over by CM Punk and is trying to win the briefcase to reclaim the World Heavyweight Championship. McIntyre also promised that he would win the game and honor the contract that same evening.
Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match – Iyo Sky vs. Chelsea Green vs. Lyra Valkyria vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Naomi vs. Zoey Stark: Unlike the men, there aren't many deeper stories behind the game. Notably, only one woman (Carmella) has won Money in the Bank and held on to the contract for more than 40 days, with almost all cash-ins occurring within 24 hours of winning the game.
Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens & Randy Orton vs. The Bloodline: Solo Sikoa has taken over The Bloodline in the absence of Roman Reigns, leaving Paul Heyman desperate. Heyman even went so far as to beg CM Punk to come to his aid. The new version of The Bloodline has far less control as Sikoa has brought in people like Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu, a much more violent group. The group has long had problems with Rhodes, Owens and Orton, and the six-man squad may now steal the show as it is full of potentially show-stealing matches.
Intercontinental Championship – Sami Zayn (c) vs. Bron Breakker: This could have easily been Zayn vs. Breakker vs. Sheamus vs. Ludwig Kaiser, after Breakker vs. Sheamus ended with Sheamus getting the disqualification win after being attacked by Kaiser, and Sheamus then DQing Kaiser during Kaiser's match with Breakker attack. Instead, Zayn offered Breakker the chance to challenge him anytime, anywhere. Breakker has chosen Money in the Bank and that will go down unless something changes in a week.
