Bad Bunny on potential WWE return I want to do it one more time

Music superstar Bad Bunny is hoping for another WWE match.

Bad Bunny impressed fans with strong performances at WrestleMania 37 and Backlash 2023, and appeared as a participant in the 2022 Royal Rumble. It's been almost two years since he last wrestled, but Bad Bunny still wants to compete in the ring again. He told Rolling Stone that he remains in touch with WWE, although it doesn't sound like either side has set a timetable for his potential return to the ring.

“I want to do it again. I want to put my life on the line in the ring. I felt like I didn’t risk it enough in the ring and I want to,” Bad Bunny said. “I want to scare my mother. When? I don't know. We stay in touch with the people at WWE and are always aware of what's going on. But when, I don't know. I hope there's a time when I can really prepare like I've done the last few times. And I would like to take more time to prepare myself physically.

“But man, just like in music, I do this to get better and do something different. Sometimes I say, “I'm going to give up everything and devote myself to wrestling.” I feel like I'm in wrestling, I only go there sporadically as a celebrity. I will work full time and be a heel. That's what I would love. [Laughs] I’ve always been a fan of the bad guys more than the good guys.”

Backlash 2023 took place in Bad Bunny's native Puerto Rico. With the LWO helping him stave off interference until Judgment Day, he defeated Damian Priest in a street fight that night.

In his Rolling Stone interview, Bad Bunny mentioned that WWE is bringing Backlash to Mexico. Whether this has any validity remains to be seen. A fake graphic claiming that Mexico will host Backlash 2025 is circulating on social media recently.
