In a now-deleted tweet, McGregor commented on Chandler's performance saying: “Cut Michael Chandler! Just kidding. Good fight. The crazy little guy is Michael. Chandler didn't let the loss deter him and rekindled his interest in fighting McGregor. During the UFC 309 post-fight show, he remarked: “Conor and I have to finish The Ultimate Fighter 31 – when he comes back. Either he has to retreat and just sail off into the sunset, or he has to come back. So we'll see what happens.
