WWE SmackDown General manager Nick Aldis isn't ready to close the book on his wrestling career just yet. I'm talking about the latest episode of INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, Aldis said wants He has earned the right to step into the ring at least one more time. He realized that he would not find peace if he was not given the chance.
Aldis wants at least one more game
Aldis is currently the General manager of SmackDown and he is doing an excellent job in that role. However, he is a wrestler at heart. “I would like to lace them up,” Aldis said in the interview. “I don’t care if it’s regular, but I’ve earned it.”
Aldis leaves the door open for a possible return to the ring, but it's not clear if WWE sees him in that role. He admitted that he did not actively advocate for it and did not ask for it. He explained: “When the time comes they will want it and hopefully it will be the right time. I just told them I'm ready if you want to do that.

He has had discussions with Triple H about his role
Aldis stated that he has had discussions with Triple H about his role on SmackDown and, in particular, his character. “Hunter said, ‘I want this to be different. “Your general manager schtick won't necessarily be the typical authority figure we've seen in the past.” It's fascinating to learn the details of his communications with Triple H, because that leaves the door open for an atypical in-ring return .
Triple H doesn't want him to be a stereotypical power-hungry authority figure. Instead, it's much more memorable if you stay calm and never let yourself get down when chaos ensues, when Aldis finally goes crazy or feels the need to get in the ring.
Aldis also spoke about how much he appreciated and saw Triple H. He obviously trusts his judgment. “I realized that I was studying without expressing it at the time [Triple H] because… I'm more intellectual. I could do more with this approach.”
If one thing is clear, it's that Nick Aldis is far from done and wants the opportunity to play another game.
