There were several contracts between England players and the all-rounder Sam Curran, who became the new player most expensive player in IPL history acquired from former club Chennai Super Kings for 2.4 crore (£225,000) in the 2023 season.

Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant became a record purchaserLucknow Super Giants will pay ₹27 crore (₹2.54 million) for his services.

Pant returned to cricket in the IPL last year after a 14-month break due to a car accident.
