Kenny Moore doesnt sugarcoat the state of the Colts following loss vs Bills

After the Indianapolis Colts' third straight loss to the Buffalo Bills, cornerback Kenny Moore didn't sugarcoat this team's current state.

“I don’t think everyone is doing their best, and that obviously shows,” Kenny Moore said, via ESPN’s Stephen Holder. “I’m not the type to sugarcoat it. Honestly, I don't think the urgency is there. I don't think the details are there. I don’t see that everything is connected, from the meetings to the training to the games, and it shows.”

Now, at 4-6 this season, it feels like the Colts have reached a turning point. As bad as things are right now, they are still in the hunt for a playoff spot. However, achieving this would require a 180 degree U-turn from where they are.

The defense has done its best to keep the team in the game over the last month, but the offense has done little in return, not to mention that in most cases you can only contain Josh Allen for so long.

Moore didn't specifically mention any side of the ball, instead speaking generally about the team. But anyone who has watched even a few minutes of Colts football in recent weeks knows that the biggest problems lie on the offensive side of the ball.

The Colts decided to use Joe Flacco instead of Anthony Richardson because, as Shane Steichen put it, he gives Indianapolis the best chance to win. But it certainly didn't turn out that way.

The Colts are now 1-3 in games Flacco has finished this season. In the last two weeks in particular, he has been responsible for six turnovers and the offense has only put up 26 points overall – seven of which came in the final minute of Sunday's game, when Buffalo had already secured the victory.

After the loss to the Bills, at least “for now.”

Awaiting the Colts in Week 11 are the New York Jets, a team that has been beatable this season despite its talent on both sides of the ball. For this Colts team, they have reached the point in the season where it is now or never.
