They were just inside AEW for a few weeks, but already the Hurt Syndicate, formerly known as the Hurt Business in WWEThey feel comfortable in their new home. Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin may be the ones taking the most fights, but they're nothing without MVP as a leader and with the mic skills in front of them. In a recent interview, MVP spoke about why he decided to leave WWE in the first place, and while he didn't name any names, it's easy to tell who exactly he was talking about.

MVP reveals why he left WWE
MVP spent most of his career with WWE, and it is the company that made him a star, but in an interview with Drop the Heat he explained why he had to leave them behind:
“This time I did not want to re-sign and I communicated that I would not re-sign because the new management is in place – no matter where you work, when the new management comes, it is good for some people and for others not. New people come in, old people leave. So I just felt like it was definitely time to leave because the new management just wasn't for me and I wasn't for him [laughs].” (h/t Combative)

MVP and Bobby Lashley were not a fan of Triple H booking in WWE
Since Endeavor and Triple H took over WWE after Vince McMahon sold the company and was subsequently forced to retire due to his legal issues, the company has thrived. Viewership and ratings are up, business is better than ever and more superstars are getting a chance. However, it didn't work out for everyone and the Hurt Business are at the top of the list. They were a popular faction during the COVID era, but despite stars like MVP and Bobby Lashley being vocal about wanting to put the group back together, Triple H, for whatever reason, wasn't interested.
There was an unconfirmed report that MVP called Triple H a “coward and a liar.”and he responded to a comment on social media that said Triple H was emasculating black men by saying, “You see it.” Bobby Lashley has since said as much Vince McMahon saw him as a star.
Although MVP never mentions Triple H's name in his recent comments, he is talking about him. Triple H wasn't a fan of him and MVP wasn't a fan of Triple H. Luckily, the group is getting a new chance in AEW. Now that Bobby Lashley has finally made his debut, expect the Hurt Syndicate to only get bigger and better.
