Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for their 34-15 win over the New England Patriots in Week 12.
Tagovailoa finished the win with 29 completions on 40 pass attempts for 317 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions. His touchdown pass total and passer rating of 128.9 both led all NFL quarterbacks in Week 12.
Although he is the first Dolphins player to earn Player of the Week honors this season, Tagovailoa is no stranger to the award. He received the award once each in 2022 and 2023 and now joins Dan Marino as the only Miami quarterbacks to win the AFC Player of the Week award at least three times. Marino was an 18-time winner.
Tagovailoa, who missed four games earlier this season due to a concussion, has now completed at least 70 percent of his passes in all five starts since returning to the lineup in Week 8. He leads the NFL with a completion percentage of 73.3.
