  1. It’s all the weight behind the punches and he knows how to punch. Tom is even worse. We’ve never really seen Jon hurt though that I can remember. He’s like a Mayweather that gets hit.

  2. Those punches just feeling harder and harder Jon, cause you are getting older brother! Just make the tom fight happen now dawg just ask for whatever amount comes to mind I'm sure they'll make it work somehow……💪🫵💰💯👊

  3. Stipe had literally zero interest in that fight besides the pay it will bring as a retirement bonus. That's all it was, a retirement bonus fight!

  4. I'm from Romania and for me, who is not American, it looks very ugly and wrong all this hate that comes from Americans for Jones…
I know exactly all the mistakes Jones made and I'm still a fan. We all have made mistakes in our lives, bigger or smaller.
America should be proud to have a champion like Jones, not to show him so much hate, it looks very ugly seen through the eyes of us who are from other countries!
    Pace and love from România!!!🤝😍✌️❤️

  5. I can't wait to see the future edits of Jon saying this line, followed immediately by a clip of him being starched by Aspinall

  6. MMA fighters get about 4 to 5 years max of prime performance, athleticism and experience. Like all of us, their nervous systems begin to lose efficiency with age, wear, and stress, and their muscle memory and reflexive speed is what is impacted first.

We have seen this happen very suddenly with many fighters (Silva, Ferguson, Connor, Aldo, the list goes on) it's no different for Jones. He's a human after all.

Jones' prime ended no later than 2018. This is probably why he used PEDs before the second DC fight in 2017 as he felt himself slowing down and not retaining his muscle mass as well.

Moreover, Stipe's prime was ending right around the same time and he got KO'd by another guy who was at the end of his prime. Then he had to fight the same aging guy two more times in a row, so the effect of his own aging was less obvious.

It was way more obvious when he got knocked out next by Ngannou (who he had already beaten when he was still in his prime) and then just recently by Jones who is also slow and aging.

This is all to say that yes, Jones is slightly quicker and more reflexive than Stipe, but not by much.

What is very funny is that people complain that Jones beat an old man, but Jones is only 5 years younger than Stipe and both of them are way past their prime.

These same people say Jones should fight Aspinall who is six years younger than Jones and just entering his prime!!!

    Make it make sense.

  7. Jones is trying to stretch the career further haha. Gonna be hard for him to admit retirement. But he better do it soon than later if yecwant to keep his "legacy". Cause you cant keep winning fights forever. Especially with Tom after him

    • Substance: Cocaine metabolites.
    • Details: Jones tested positive for cocaine metabolites during an out-of-competition drug test conducted a month before his fight with Daniel Cormier.
    • Aftermath: Since cocaine is not prohibited out of competition by USADA, Jones was not sanctioned. However, the result was publicly revealed, and Jones later checked into rehab briefly.

    2. UFC 200 (July 9, 2016)

    • Substance: Clomiphene and Letrozole (anti-estrogen agents).
    • Details: Jones was pulled from his rematch with Daniel Cormier just days before the event.
    • Sanction: A one-year suspension.

    3. UFC 214 (July 29, 2017)

    • Details: Jones initially defeated Daniel Cormier but was stripped of the title after the win was overturned to a No Contest.

    • Substance: Residual metabolites of Turinabol.
    • Details: Trace amounts of the substance found in Jones’ system caused the fight with Alexander Gustafsson to be relocated from Las Vegas to Los Angeles. USADA deemed it a “pulsing” effect from his prior suspension.
    • Outcome: Jones faced no suspension and won the fight.
